The eternal rest of old giants barren by centuries
Once serpents creating it all - awaiting the final damnation

My decadent soul begs for a new blossom
After the autumn’s equinox withered the inner self

Unto the crystal clear water up in the almost frozen lake
The journey stripped away the shell of my existence passing through the hard path
So high and cold, striking the limits of our will
Under a glacial sleep we’ll end the lashes of dust and time
Perpetual is the patience, be calm and feel
We have deprived ourselves from the magic now lost
Lone wanderers in our own world
The sun was covered with a finger
Just before we accepted our earthly death

And all matter is now gone
The silence fills forever
What poetry unfolds
Shedding night I come
Mysterious emanation from the underworld
While gazing our beginnings
In the doubtful emptiness
There’s nothing you can reach, oh no…
The nothingness is all
Swim the oceans of eternal grief
Become one with the fires of redemption
Inhale the sweet smell of victory
Unveiling a covered deception
Once ascension has been touched all is nothing and nothing is all, the ending may be the start for a new loop of an unstoppable wheel encircling the eternal imperfection of the self, when always is now, yesterday and forever. Let me catch your restless spirit and guide it into the search for liberation, while chaos becomes the art that will free your being from this grief…
One day, when life is over at the end
I Hope our questions will be answered…
When there’s no time
And all matter is now gone

In the open fields I’m lost
The grass is wet on the tears all mourners wept
Melancholy transforms in regret
Beneath these somber figures that stare
Is that the light of dying star
Leading me out
To merge again with the firmament
Or just a memory
Like a black velvet the darkness enshrouded me
While shapeless shadows took my breath away
No scream can be heard
In hopelessness I drown
The fear overcomes my strength
In solitude I feel immersed
Pain surrounds me
As a hunter lies in wait
Is that the light of a dying star
Leading me out
To merge again with the firmament
Or just a memory
Saw no glimpse of joy
Was it my fate to live in eternal misfortune?
A prisoner jaded in the black tapestry
Of endless decaying emotions…

Well this is officially, by far the most beautiful album I've ever heard in doom metal. The drumming work is so original and innovative, especially in doom metal. The woodwinds and the violins are such a nice touch. The growls are so haunting. I love their transitions to the heavy instrumentation with the growls to the soft, melancholic clean passages. The clean voices are amazing and the melodies chosen in the voices are quite different and added a whole new emotion to the songs
