Very lush expansive doom, lots of different arrangements and choral vocals, slow and sad and full of regret. Extremely high quality stuff. Sounds like a life’s work. Also quite heavy.

Pantheist ne m'avait guère passionné jusqu'à présent, mais cet album m'a pris par surprise en réunissant ce que le funeral doom peut être à son meilleur : solennel, majestueux et mélancolique sans jamais sombrer dans la pleurnicherie. Meilleur album du genre pour cette année.
